Renault’s punishment for perhaps the most meticulously planned and well-executed bit of cheating in the history of sport amounts to little more than a clip round the ear and a stern telling off.
If the team can stay out of trouble for the next two years (and let’s face it, they’d have to be pretty darn stupid to reoffend after this) they’ll effectively get off scot-free.
That sets a mighty fine precedent, doesn’t it?
